In-Person therapy

There is much value in the time spent, talking with your therapist one-on-one.  Although I heavily support the use of teleservices to provide care to those who are unable to attend 1-on-1 sessions, I also value the role that in-person therapy plays in providing an effective rapport for therapeutic change.

What the heck is teletherapy!?!

Teletherapy is the use of technology (phones, computers, tablets, etc.) to connect two people over the internet. Most teletherapy is done with the use of programs such as Google Hangouts, Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime.

***It is important for all patients to understand the limitations of teletherapy including: the inability to treat some disorders, privacy concerns, and the need for an on-going commitment to a therapeutic treatment plan. Your clinician will discuss the limitations with you and answer any questions you might have, when determining if you would benefit from teletherapy. .
