Auzadeh Harvey, LPC, LPCC, MS, NCC

Integrative Counseling of Oregon

I live in Oregon and originated from New Mexico.  My hobbies include hiking, kayaking, trying new foods, gardening, fishing, archery, reading, watching crime dramas, traveling, loving my dog, and at times I enjoy doing absolutely nothing. I became a counselor because I believe we are all taught a false sense of perfection and happiness, and when we learn our own limitations and define our own happiness.... we might actually achieve those states of mind.

I graduated from a CACREP accredited mental health program and have owned a private practice since 2012.  My career has enabled me to work as a provider in numerous correctional facilities, with veterans throughout the United States, on two reality tv shows, as a participant in a national scientific advisory committee, in private practice, as a supervisor, as a trainer for therapists and law enforcement, and with national programs geared towards helping animals and veterans. My private practice is geared towards individuals struggling with depression, anger, anxiety, and dysfunction.

I am not a 'warm fuzzy' counselor... but I do believe in positive reinforcement, outlining strengths and goals, and honesty.  I curse.... and I advocate for my clients and their counseling journeys.  It is my opinion that clients should 'try out' different counselors in order to find a good 'fit.'  It is important for me to be as committed to your progress, as you are!
